With passion and zest, Jacqui Ellis brings her top-notch dance skills from the U.K. to Vancouver. She truly believes that dance is a great way to keep fit, meet people, improve confidence, and have a great time, from ages 9 to 90! Jacqui gained superb dance training in Great Britain from one of the top technical coaches in the world: Pat Goode, a Fellow of the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing). Jacqui also trained at Olga Wilmot’s School in Ipswich and Gwenethe Walshe’s school in London, Eng. Dancing since 1993, Jacqui steadily progressed through the ISTD and NATD (National Association of Teachers of Dancing) medal system, achieving Honours in Latin American and Ballroom at grade Gold Star I in May 2000. In the process, she participated successfully in many dance school and amateur competitions. |
